magic!

I am really excited about this one. I spent a few weeks on it, adding little things here and there and doing little bits at a time. I want to do more stuff like this. It came from the ink drawing I did back in April. Thunderfist said I should do a painting like that, and I was like "you so craaazy!" but I gave it a shot anyway, and I'm glad I did.

My friends and I liked the horse head I painted on the wall at Alex's art show better than the original. So I repainted it, this time on a square piece of wood. I also painted each side of the wood frame a different color, not pictured.

I don't normally post music stuff, but I just saw this for the first time and I love it.

This is a music video for the song "My Girls" off the latest Animal Collective album. This song is my favorite on the album, so I am glad this video is so cool! I like at the end when they turn all drippy.

If you are new to Animal Collective, I should warn you that some of their songs take a while to get going, but if you are patient, the pay-off is epic.
